“Each family has different claims and demands different amounts of compensation, and no one will represent anyone, so it’s each passenger’s family member who will have separate hearings.” According to some of the families of the plaintiffs of Malaysia Airlines, Zhang Qihuai disclosed that the defendants in this trial there are five companies: the first party is the reorganization of the former Malaysia Airlines, the second party is the reorganization of the new Malaysia Airlines, the third party is the aircraft manufacturer Boeing, the fourth party is the aircraft engine manufacturing company Rolls-Royce UK, and the last party is the underwriting of Germany’s Allianz Insurance Group for the Malaysian Airline.

Many of the families of the missing passengers, whether in interviews or on social media platforms, have said that “finding people is always the first demand”.
